<p>Wally Hammond is considered to be England&#8217;s premier most batsman of all time, With over 50,000 first-class runs and a batting average of 58.45 in Tests, he was a batting power house. With 10 sixes in a match against New Zealand held at Auckland in March 1993, Wally makes it to the sixth position in the list. In doing so he also made his career best score of 336*.</p>

<p>England all-rounder Ben Stokes played an incredible knock during the New Year’s Test vs South Africa at Cape Town. The visitors were already one up in the series but the Proteas came back strong on day one sending back 4 English batsmen for 167. But there after it was Stokes who dictated terms and scored his maiden double ton in Tests which is now a record second fastest in the history of the game. During his entertaining knock of 258 off 338 balls he scored as many as 30 boundaries and parked the ball in the stands 11 times.</p>

<p>Brendon McCullum hit 11 sixes in this knock to make a place for himself in the list for most 6s in an innings. The opponent was Sri Lanka and the venue was Christchurch December 2014. McCullum a natural stroke player is a sure name in a list discussing about sixes. </p>

The Australian opener with 11 sixes is place third on the list, he scored his career best of 380 in the match against Zimbabwe at Perth in October 2003. Hayden holds the record for the highest individual Test runs (380) made by any Australian batsman.</p>

<p>The free spirit of cricket Nathan Astle holds the second position in the list of most sixes in a Test innings. The Black Cap smashed the English bowlers all around the park in the match held at Christchurch in March 2002. Nathan achieved his career best score of 222 in doing so he also hit 11 sixes.</p>

<p>Wasim Akram is considered as perhaps the best left-arm fast bowler of all time, he makes a surprise appearance in the list. Topping the list of most sixes in a Test Innings, the left-hander made a record by hitting 12 sixes in a Test innings against Zimbabwe at Sheikhupura in October 1996, while doing so he scored 257* runs which is his career best score in Test matches.</p>
