8. Saqlain Mushtaq – 61 wickets at Sharjah Cricket Stadium:

The off-spinner from Pakistan who had introduced the doosra in the game has been a role model for plenty of young Pakistani spinners. The bowling actions of Saeed Ajmal, Mohammad Hafeez, and Shoaib Malik are quite similar to that Mushtaq’s which shows that each one of them has taken a leaf out of his book.
He enjoyed a healthy run of form at Sharjah and scalped 61 wickets in 36 matches. On four occasions, he picked up 4 wickets in an innings and had an excellent average of 21.85. His best performance came against New Zealand in 2001 when he took 4 wickets for just 17 runs and dismantled the Kiwis for just 127 runs.
