<p>The explosive opener is well-known for his big hitting abilities and sublime stroke play. Martin Guptill hit the record books straight after scoring a 30-ball 90* against Sri Lanka in the penultimate ODI of the year. Guptill batted beautifully, finding the gaps at ease and hitting the big shots at will. He brought up his half-century from 17 deliveries and went on to hit nine boundaries and eight sixes. Chasing 118 to win, New Zealand wrapped up the game in just 8.2 overs. Guptill remained unbeaten with a staggering strike rate of 310.</p>

In the innings he made the record for fastest 50 (16 balls), 100 (31 balls) and 150 (64 balls). De Villiers played with an unbelievable strike-rate of 338.63. The rampant innings even made Chris Gayle bow down to ABD.</p>
