Lendl Simmons has turned out to be one of the promising openers in the T20 format in last couple of years. His dream run started in 2013 CPL where he was 2nd top scorer in the tournament and later he was part of Mumbai Indians in IPL 2014 from middle of the season and ended up as team’s top scorer. He continued his dream run and ended last year’s CPL T20 as top run scorer. Even in this year’s IPL he end as MI’s top scorer and 2nd in overall and led its team’s turn around after no been part of team in early matches.
