1. Sir Ian Botham (England) 114 & 13/106:

The one-off Test match in 1980 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the BCCI produced a one-sided match but it was redeemed by an extraordinary all-round performance by the great Ian Botham, whose versatility was in full bloom. He took 6/58 that bowled out India for 242 at the Wankhede Stadium. He top-scored with a brilliant 114 and helped England post 296. His incredible spell of 7/48 bundled out the hosts for 149 and the target of 98 was gunned down by the English without the loss of any wicket.
