<p>An all time great, Steve Waugh was known for his gutsy batting and astute captaincy. Few cricketers command the kind of respect this man does. He used to thrive under pressure and bat with determination. Waugh played 325 ODIs scoring 7569 runs with 45 half-centuries and 3 tons. His knock of 120 not out against South Africa in the semi-final of the 1999 World Cup at Edgbaston is arguably and justifiably considered the greatest chasing innings in an ODI.</p>

<p>One of the finest spinners ever, Vettori was a very handy batsman too. Having played 295 ODIs he scored 2253 runs with 4 half-centuries. A gutsy left-handed batsman he was able to score quick runs with his unorthodox batting technique. As a bowler he picked up 305 wickets at an economy rate of 4.12 runs per over; a remarkable record in modern day cricket which is heavily in favor of the batsmen. One of New Zealand’s all time greats ‘Dan the Man’ is one of the most respected cricketers in the world.</p>

<p>A modern-day South African great, this wicket-keeper batsman was known for his skills and temperament. As a batsman Boucher’s quick runs helped his team win many matches. His most memorable inning was probably the match-winning unbeaten 50 he scored to complete South Africa&#8217;s run-chase, helping the Proteas achieve a series-winning target of 438 for 9 off the penultimate ball of a remarkable ODI against Australia in Johannesburg in March 2006. He played 295 ODIs scoring 4686 runs with 26 half-centuries and 1 hundred.</p>

<p>A solid all-round cricketer, Razzaq was known for his hard-hitting batting and medium pace bowling alike. An ice-cool temperament saw him take Pakistan over the line on many occasions. Having played 265 ODIs he scored 5080 runs with 23 half-centuries and 3 tons. Whenever the chips were down for his team he rose to the occasion and guided them through with his aggressive yet calculated approach. He possessed a wide array of strokes and was strong driving through covers and mid-off; off both front and back foot. His bowling was accurate and he took 269 wickets at an economy rate of 4.69 runs per over; a stat which confirmed his all-round abilities.</p>

<p>A fine all-round limited overs cricketer, Chris Harris is remembered for his versatile batting and slow-medium wobblers. Harris&#8217; ability to score all around the wicket, pick the gaps and hit boundaries at just the right time turned him into New Zealand&#8217;s answer to Michael Bevan, and his 62 not-outs in one-day cricket testify to his ability to close out an innings. His bowling was ideally suited to the shorter form of the game; gentle medium-pace that forced the batsman to do all the work. He was also a brilliant fielder, particularly in the inner circle. He played 250 matches scoring 4379 runs for the Kiwis with 16 half-centuries and 1 century to his credit.</p>

<p>The former legendary spinner of Sri Lanka also makes his name into this list. He was a brilliant spinner and came out to bat at the end which helped him stay not out for a number of times. Murli played 350 ODIs scoring 674 runs with 33 not out being his best. With an unusual batting technique he used to entertain the crowds attempting equally unusual slogs. Known for his bowling, this phenomenal bowler picked up 534 ODI wickets and single-handedly bowled his team to many victories.</p>

<p>The former left-handed Australian batsman is regarded as one of the best finishers in ODI cricket. His sensational batting helped Australia win a number of matches. Michael Bevan anchored the innings for them and stayed till the end to set-up many famous wins for the Aussies. He played 232 matches, scoring 6912 runs at an average of 53.58. He scored 46 half-centuries and 6 tons.  Bevan will long be remembered for his amazing innings against the West Indies at Sydney in 1996 and New Zealand at Melbourne in 2002, when his nerveless batting with the tail-enders secured nail-biting victories for the Aussies.</p>
