Rahul Dravid kept wickets from 2002-2004 in ODIs so that India could play an extra bowler or batsman. He was capable of keeping without making too many errors and this resulted in him grabbing 15 catches and 1 stumping to dismiss 16 batsmen in the 2003 World cup.

Pakistani World cup winner glovesman Moin Khan came back into the Pakistani team in 1999 World cup, where they reached the finals again. Moin Khan not only contributed with his bat, but also with his keeping dismissing 16 batsman in the tournament.

West Indian keeper Jeff Dujon dismissed 16 batsmen in 8 matches in the 1983 World cup. Dujon was the part of the the all-conquering Windies team of 1980s and kept to bowlers like Andy Roberts, Michael Holding, Joel Garner and Malcolm Marshall. 

3. Adam Gilchrist (Aus) ICC World Cup 2007

Adam Gilchrist who was mostly quiet with  his bat in the 2007 World cup, but he did his bit with gloves taking 12 catches and 5 stumpings for a total of 17 dismissals in the tournament. He did explode in the final making a blistering 149 runs and taking Australia to 3rd consecutive World title. 

2. Kumar Sangakkara (SL) ICC World Cup 2003
