Former England opener, Captain and keeper Alec Stewart had a long and wonderful career that included a final in 1992 World cup and a quarterfinal in the 1996 world cup. Stewart played 25 matches in total and made 23 dismissals as a wicket keeper, including 21 catches and 2 stumpings.

Denesh Ramdin, the West Indian keeper has 25 dismissals in World cup. All of his dismissals have been catches so far with no stumpings. His best is 4 catches in a match and he has been an integral part of the West Indian batting line up and a good keeper behind the stumps. 
6. MS Dhoni (Ind) 2007-2015

Th current India skipper MS Dhoni makes his entry in the list at no.6 with 26 dismissals. He has 21 catches and 5 stumpings in his kitty. Dhoni&#8217;s best is 3 catches in one match. A good keeper behind the stumps, he probably is one of the fastest stumpers in cricket with lightning quick reflexes.

5. Moin Khan (Pak) 1992-1999

Former World cup winner in 1992 and finalist in 1999, Moin Khan played 20 matches at the biggest stage. He made 30 dismissals including 23 catches and 7 stumpings, including 2 stumpings in the Saqlain Mushtaq hat-trick against Zimbabwe in the 1999 World cup. 

4. Mark Boucher (SA) 1999-2007

Mark Boucher played a very important role in the South African side during his tenure from 1997-2012. He played in 2 semi-finals in 1999 and 2007 and hit 2 of the fastest 50s in World cup history. HE also made 31 dismissals, all catches in 25 matches he played. 

3. Brendon McCullum (NZ)  2003-2015

Current New Zealand skipper Brendon McCullum gave up keeping in every format in 2012 due to a back injury, but before that happened, he was one of the most athletic keepers of all time. He kept wickets in the 2003, 2007 and 2011 World cups making 32 dismissals in all with 30 catches and 2 stumpings in 27 matches.

3 time World champion in 1999, 2003 and 2007, Adam Gilchrist redefined the role of a wicket keeper in limited overs and Test cricket. No longer was a wicket keeper supposed to just keep wickets and bat lower down the order, he kept wickets to the best spinner in the history of the game in Shane Warne and opened the innings in ODIs and T20s. His attacking stroke play and brilliant and belligerent hitting captured the hearts of every fan in cricket world. 
He made a record 52 dismissals in all the world cups he played. Those included 45 catches and 7 stumpings in 31 matches.

Kumar Sangakkara who is playing his last ODI tournament at the 2015 World cup has been amongst the most consistent performers for Sri Lanka along with Mahela Jayawardene. A former skipper who led Sri Lanka to the 2011 World cup finals and played in the 2003 semi-final and 2007 final, he has gathered a lot of victims in his World cup career. A total of 54 victims including 41 catches and 13 stumpings in 36 matches he has played. He broke Adam Gilchrist&#8217;s record for most dismissals in World Cup.
