Hailed as one of the modern greats, Kumar Sangakkara is 3rd in the list of the players with highest average in test cricket. His test average is also more than his first-class average and after the knock of 203 runs against New Zealand, Sangakkara’s test average now stands at 58.92. He will play a few more tests and if the good form continues, the average may cross 60 as well. He is the only batsman in this list to play 100 test matches.
