The stylish left hander scored 1442 runs overall in that year and scored 6 centuries during that process in 29 innings that he played. The Kirsten scored 188* against UAE in the 1996 World Cup, which is the highest score by a South African batsman in ODI’s. He stands at number 3rd in the list of top 5 batsmen with most ODI hundreds in a year 2. Sourav Ganguly (India) 7 Sourav Ganguly one of the most aggressive player and Skipper’s of India is at No. 2 . The responsibility of captaincy did not have any negative effects, in fact enhanced his skills further as Ganguly performed extremely well 1579 runs that year. 1.
