The Triangular Blind T20 tournament is underway in Pakistan, and in the 4th match of the tournament, the Pakistan side comfortably beat India with seven wickets intact. The Indian side wielded the willow first and posted a total of 163 in their 20-over quota. Skipper Prakash Jayaramiah was the chief catalyst of the Indian side with the bat and scored a vital 64-ball 79.

Apart from Jayaramaih, Sunil Ramesh contributed a vital 24 as well. With the ball, Anees Javed, Shahzaib Haider, and Badar Munir picked up a solitary scalp each. In reply, it was Badar Munir and Muhammad Rashid who helped Pakistan seal the deal.

Both Munir and Rashid scored 64 runs apiece. Munir was the destructive of the two, as he scored his runs off just 34 balls. Rashid played second fiddle to Munir, and scored his runs off 48 deliveries, as Pakistan cantered past the target in the 19th over of the contest between the two sides. With this rollicking performance, the Pakistan side has qualified for the final of the competition.

And, for his stellar performance with the bat, Munir won the Player of the Match award. Pakistan will now play the summit clash that is scheduled on 19th March 2022. The Pakistan side is unbeaten in the tournament so far, and have produced outstanding performances with both bat and ball.

India will next take on Bangladesh in a must-win clash

On the other hand, the Indian side will take on the Bangladesh side on 17th March 2022. A loss would mean that India will be out of the tournament. Pakistan also have another league match left. The Pakistan side is slated to take on the Bangladesh side on 18th March 2022.

The Twitter handle of the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council tweeted about the scintillating victory of the Pakistan side against their arch-rivals. “Badar and Rashid trounced India in the Triangular T-20 Blind Cricket Tournament!
