Yuvraj Singh is regarded as one of the greatest all-rounders India have ever produced after the likes of Kapil Dev. He has scaled several heights over the course of his illustrious career. The Chandigarh-born player was the first to smack six sixes in a T20I when he accomplished the feat versus England in the 2007 World T20. He was also the Player of the Tournament in the 2011 Cricket World Cup.

However, he was diagnosed with cancer following which he stayed away from the sport for quite a while. Nevertheless, he stormed back and played a few series for the national team. The left-handed batsman also was a part of the 2017 Champions Trophy in England. Following India’s tour of the Windies last year, he hasn’t donned the national colours yet.

Yuvi’s poor run of form

Yuvraj has had a horrible time lately as a cricketer. The veteran recently ended his stint with the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the 2018 Indian Premier League (IPL). He was roped in by the Preity Zinta-owned franchise at his base price of INR 2 crore.  During the tournament, he was in and out of the team and hardly was able to cement his position in the eleven owing to inconsistent performances.

In 8 matches, the southpaw could only manage 65 runs at a horrendous average of 10.83. He was sent at various slots in the batting lineup, but the 36-year old cricketer somehow couldn’t hit his straps.

Power-cut has been a massive issue in Mumbai lately and the citizens are highly inconvenienced. Yuvraj is also in the city and has to face the issue. The discarded Indian cricketer took to Twitter and expressed his disgust over the matter. He wrote

“Lights Out in Bandra for over an hour now … can we get it back please ?!?!”

Here is Yuvraj’s post

The message was mocked by the public and they shared some hilarious tweets on the same
