The third Test between South Africa and Australia at the Newlands at Cape Town is currently underway. The series has been a witness to some heated altercations between players from both the teams. David Warner barged into Quinton de Kock inside the dressing room following some lewd comments by the Proteas wicket-keeper surrounding Candice Warner, David’s spouse.

Thereafter, Nathan Lyon dropped the ball on AB de Villiers following the latter’s run-out. Thereafter, Kagiso Rabada entered into a collision with Steve Smith in his follow-through. Rabada was subsequently fined and handed demerit points. The current Test match has recently added to the heat, which again involved David Warner.

Warner played a short cameo, which kept the audience on the edge of their seats. He stomped in and took South Africa’s bowlers to the cleaners in his brief knock and made his intentions clear right from the outset. He eventually scored 30 runs off 14 balls, which included five scorching boundaries and a colossal six over the fine-leg region of a bouncer by Kagiso Rabada.

The ugly send-off for Warner

However, the Proteas pacer had the last laugh as he castled the Aussie opener with a peach of a delivery. The over didn’t start well for the Johannesburg-born youngster as Warner spanked him over the ropes. Thereafter, Warner carved him past the backward point region for a boundary. To add to his woes, Rabada overstepped.

In the second delivery, Rabada avenged the early blows by Warner by dismissing him. He bowled a back-of-a-length delivery, which beat Warner’s inside edge and his off-stump went for a toss. However, while returning back to the pavilion, Warner was suspected to have been greeted with some harsh words from a person from the stands. Following the words, Warner turned around and gave a stern look. Subsequently, Twitter went into a frenzy.
