They say there are seven people in the world who look pretty similar to you. Also, the saying that it is very rare one will meet them anytime soon. But seems the fans in Pakistan have spotted a lookalike of India vice-captain Rohit Sharma. As passionate as the Indians are about cricket, their arch-rivals are also not far behind in this regard. Cricket is also a kind of religion in Pakistan.

And the fans out there were looking forward to catching some cricketing action for what was supposed to be a white-ball series against New Zealand. But instead, there was only disappointment in store for the Pakistani fans as the Blackcaps returned home without playing a game citing security as a primary reason.

But there was some entertainment for the fans as they spotted a lookalike of Rohit Sharma, who apparently was seen sipping juice somewhere in Pakistan. The memes of this man are all over Twitter. A Pakistani fan saw a funny side of the picture and cheekily Tweeted, “Who said Pakistan is not safe for visiting international cricketers?” Shiraz Hassan tweeted. “Just saw star Indian player Rohit Sharma, enjoying a glass of Aalu Bukhara (plum) sharbat at Rawalpindi’s saddar.”

Another fan saw how Rohit Sharma is struggling by not winning games for Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and wrote that the 34-year-old needs this cool drink to release some pressure of the defeats in the league.

Mumbai Indians struggling in the UAE leg of the IPL

Speaking about the UAE leg of the IPL, MI have lost three games on the bounce and have slipped to the seventh position on the points table. This is the first time since 2018 that the five-time IPL champions have lost three matches on the bounce. Skipper Rohit Sharma, who is always spot on with his captaincy moves has been struggling to collectively get the performance from the unit.

Although he has got starts in all three games, the one big elusive score is yet to come from the Hitman’s blade. Still, all is not lost for MI as have four matches yet to be played. Currently, they have got eight points and if they win the remaining four games they can still have a shot in the playoffs.
