Players are divided by their nationality and are united by cricket. Cricket is one big family which celebrates each and every festival on this planet like its own. Twitter has made it easier for everyone to celebrate the festivals. Same is the case for this year’s Holi celebration.
Almost every Indian is celebrating with colors and the Indian cricketers were surely not the ones to be left behind. Right from the youngsters and emerging stars like Ricky Bhui to the veterans and greatest of all times like Sachin Tendulkar.
The current Indian cricket team also took some time off from their hectic schedule to wish everyone a happy Holi. While the Indian skipper was kind enough to mention the safety of dogs his counterpart David Warner wasn’t behind to wish the Indians for the same as well.
When it comes to twitter and cricket, no one can miss Virender Sehwag out. He was also the one who wished everyone a prosperous Holi and happiness. The Australian veteran Dean Jones mocked Aakash Chopra while wishing his Indian fans a very happy Holi. He mocked the former Indian cricketer by saying that he should not use a lot of gold and green colour as he might not be able to pull it off.
The Indian cricket team coach, who was in a spot of bother after the first test, wished everyone a safe Holi with an attractive GIF. The Indian great Sachin Tendulkar wished his fans a happy Holi. The legend was not shy while requesting everyone to use water wisely as the summer is coming.
The Very Very Special Indian batsman, VVS Laxman wished everyone in his style. He made sure everyone knew how to celebrate Holi. Irfan Pathan whose domestic team entered the semis of the Vijay Hazare trophy tweeted wishing his fans a wonderful Holi as well.
Here are the top Holi tweets that we have picked out for you to enjoy as CricTracker also wishes all the cricket fans around the world a very happy and safe Holi.
