Twitter Reaction: MS Dhoni strikes back with a commanding fifty: Indian skipper MS Dhoni who couldn’t finish the last match against South Africa and thus India suffered a close yet hurting 5-run defeat to South Africa, walked out to bat in the 19th over of the Indian innings today. The 2 days between both the ODIs were full of discussions, debates and calls for MS Dhoni to decide about his ODI future and whether he deserved a spot in the team, is he still good enough to hit those sixes? The man came out in a tough situation today, when 3 of his team-mates had already made their way back into the pavilion.

Dhoni held up his end from the 3rd ball of the 18th over till the last ball of the 50th over, losing 6 partners at the other end. India were 105/5 and by the time 20 more runs were added to the team total another batsman got out. The skipper was batting with intent and thorough determination, which was clearly evident on his face and the way he played his knock.

With the tail for company Dhoni took India close to the 250-run mark from a position where 200 looked good enough but too far. Harbhajan played a good 22 runs cameo and complemented the skipper who stayed there till the very end, finishing the innings with a six, which is so much the Dhoni way and in the end he had 92 runs in his account from 86 balls. His knock was filled with 7 fours and 4 sixes and more importantly he scored his runs at a strike-rate of 106.97.

Reckon how much this sizzling innings will change the way he leads the team in the second innings. Check out the Twitter reactions on this fabulous knock from captain savior.
