Twitter Reactions: Cameron White tosses a fan's french fries while signing autographs after a BBL game

Sunday’s encounter between defending champions Melbourne Renegades and Adelaide Strikers threw up a plethora of moments that fans will not forget for a long time- both on and off the field. The game in itself was a thriller but apart from the pulsating strokeplay, the sumptuous boundaries or the monstrous sixes or magic spells, the match was a perfect potboiler boasting of each and every gradient that kept the fans hooked and wanting for more.

From a hilarious meet-up between Rashid Khan and David Warner after the game to the umpire hilariously abstaining from raising his finger mid-way by brushing his nose with his fingers, the match had plenty of memorable moments. But, nothing was more hilarious than seeing what Strikers’ player Cameron White did in the aftermath of the game. After the thrilling encounter, a few fans hung around the entrance of the players in the hope of getting some autographs.

As cricketers like Phil Salt, Alex Carey, and Billy Stanlake were signing autographs, one fan asked the cricketers to recreate a ‘Salt-Bae’ meme on a box of french fries. While the likes of Carey, Stanlake, and Salt duly obliged, Cameron White tossed the french fries and proceeded to run away with the bemused fans calling out his name

Rashid Khan leads Adelaide Strikers to a thrilling win 

Meanwhile, The Afghanistan spin-bowling wizard Rashid Khan was, undeniably, one of the stars of the show. Not only did Rashid befuddled the fans when he brought out his ‘Camel’ bat, with which he scored a 16-ball 25, he later returned to bowl a match-winning spell of 4-0-15-2, to help the Adelaide Strikers notch up a well-deserved 18-run-win.

Earlier Adelaide Strikers batted first and riding on the back of a whirlwind 26-ball 54 by opener Phil Salt- an innings which included seven fours and a monstrous six- and equally vital contributions by Alex Carey [41 off 37 balls] and Rashid Khan [25 off 16 balls], posted a competitive total of 6-155, which they later went on to defend, despite the Renegades getting off to a good start with skipper Aaron Finch leading the pack with his second consecutive half-century.

As for Cameron White, he might not have had a good outing with the bat [2 off 4 balls] but he certainly was on the top of his game off the field.
