Twitter Reactions: Colombo Test hangs on the edge at the end of day 3: Sri Lanka started and ended day 3 with quick wickets as the Indian team walked back to the pavilion not sure whether they are in the drivers’ seat or will be driven off. As day 3 started, Sri Lanka plucked the remaining two wickets in exchange of 20 runs. Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav gave in as Cheteshwar Pujara stood at the other end unbeaten on 145.

Indian pacers started off well bowling the right lines and lengths to put the Sri Lankans on the gas right at the start of the innings and it paid off instantly as the Lankan batsmen, lost to the adding pressure. At one stage they were rocked at 47-5 and scared to get bowled out below 100. But the lower order did not let the Indians walk away with a lead bigger than 111 runs. By the end of the day, Dhammika Prasad & Co. had a laugh going into the dressing room with 3 Indian batsmen down and the lead stretched only by another 23 runs.
