The possibility of KL Rahul making a sensational return to his former team Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) camp for the 2025 IPL season has sent the franchise's loyal fan base into turmoil.

Rahul, who made his IPL debut for RCB back in 2013 before returning for another successful stint in 2016, has been away from the camp since then, representing Punjab Kings (PBKS) and currently leading Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). In his debut season in 2013, the Karnataka batter featured in five games and scored just 20 runs. Before returning in 2016 to score 397 runs, cementing his status as a fan favourite. His aggressive yet elegant batting style perfectly complements RCB's approach, making him an ideal fit for the team.
