3. Rashid Khan fails to take GT over the line

With 19 runs needed off the last over to win the game, not many gave Gujarat a chance to win the fixture after Sai Kishore got dismissed in the 19th over. However, all-rounder Rashid Khan kept his team’s hopes alive by smashing successive boundaries at the start of the over and later clobbered a six on the penultimate delivery to leave five required off the last ball. However, he failed to deposit the last ball into the stand which resulted in a four-run loss for his side.
