Twitter Reactions: David Warner sets the tone as Pakistan chase a mammoth target

Australian batsman David Warner went ahead and smashed his way to an impressive batting performance as he smashed 55 from just the 20 odd deliveries. While Warner smashed his way into all the glory he so richly deserved. He was joined by Steve Smith and Usman Khawaja who also impressed with some good batting on the day.
The day had begun with some good batting from the likes of Younis Khan who had played quite beautifully for his century. The 39-year old also managed to remain unbeaten in his crusade as he amassed 175 runs, something that has been the hallmark of his batting career, to play the anchoring innings.
Moreover, the way he batted was also something the Pakistanis have certainly not been able to replicate in recent times. While there were certainly a few decent performances from the Pakistanis on the day, Australia wrested control with some impressive performance with both bat and ball.
Sharjeel Khan was the player who would show the fearlessness while batting that Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur was looking for, Generally considered as an ODI and T20I player, Sharjeel has been one to be drafted into the squad at the expense of Sami Aslam who had been underperforming quite a bit in recent times.
However, it was the southpaw who stood firm and got the visitors off to a flier as they went ahead and began to impress with some good batting acumen. Moreover, there was also something about the way he batted that clearly put the Aussie bowlers off the pace, to say the least. However, with upwards of 400 runs to get and nine wickets in hand, one would certainly put their money on Australia winning the series.
Fantastic performance #YounisKhan, 100s in all Test playing countries. What an achievement! #AUSVPAK
