Twitter Reactions: England beat Pakistan with ease; clinch the ODI series 3-1

England, with the help of stellar performances from their batsmen, posted a mammoth 355/5 at the end of the stipulated 50 overs. Jason Roy struck his maiden century (102 from 117 balls) and Jos Buttler (116 from 68 balls) struck the fastest century in England’s ODI history. He reached his century in just 46 balls. Apart from the duo, Joe Root (71 from 71 balls) also played an important role.
In reply, Pakistan had a decent start and maintained the required run rate, sometimes even higher. However, the Pakistani batsmen kept throwing their wickets from time to them which cost them the match. Shoaib Malik (52 from 34 runs) and Babar Azam’s run-a-ball 51 kept the hopes alive for Pakistan, but other batsmen squandered the chance to win.
Pakistan was already 2-1 down before coming into play this match. They had an opportunity to equal the series and save their pride. However, this match turned out to be a disaster for them. They underperformed in all departments and England were the superior team at the end of the day.
I've never seen anything like that from @josbuttler today. Was a privilege to see it live #PAKvENG

Pakistan could have probably avoided a couple of wickets. That run-out was really, really soft. #PAKvENG

That awkward moment when current run rate is higher than required run rate and still there is no hope.#PAKvENG

What is frustrating is that out of eight wickets to go down, no one got a good ball. All threw it away.Only Azhar Ali unlucky #PAKvENG

So #England lead the series by 3-1 #PAKvENG ……….
