Twitter Reactions: MS Dhoni’s flying bat give twitter a chance to troll him: Indian captain MS Dhoni was out in the chase last night with lot of purpose and with so much left to be done. Coming in to bat at number 4 he had the responsibility of dealing with the middle overs, keeping a check on the required run-rate, making sure they had enough wickets to go for the onslaught in the slog overs and to build a match winning partnership with his deputy Virat Kohli, who was also batting well yesterday after a lull in the previous two ODIs.
Dhoni and Kohli did most of it right, they stuck together a good, solid, substantial partnership which looked good enough to take the team over the line. But both of them went into a shell the 32nd over onwards, there was no boundary scored for the next 10 overs and that is where they lost the match.
MS Dhoni, the big hitter he is, tried to go after South Africa’s JP Duminy coming down the track and swinging for a biggie, but his bat slipped off his hands and went flying. Since he soon got out and India eventually lost the match, the trollers on twitter had their best chance to take a dig at Dhoni and so did they.
Here are the trolls on MS Dhoni’s flying bat in the 3rd ODI:

Dhoni is so good that even when he loses control of his bat and sends it flying, his first reaction is to ensure he returns to his crease!
