Yuvraj Singh was the talking point in the 3rd T20I at Sydney. The match went in favour of India and the visitors successfully completed a whitewash. The game was a high octane contest with both teams scoring big runs.

Yuvi’s fans were left upset after he did not get to bat in the first two games. No one could be blamed. India’s top order were performing in a fantastic manner.

However, Yuvraj did do a fantastic job whenever he was given the ball in the series. The man with ‘golden arm’ managed to find crucial breakthroughs for his team whenever it required. But his followers wanted to see him bat.

The desperation to watch him at the crease increased after India was cruising towards yet another possible chase in the 3rd T20I. It appeared as if Yuvraj would not get a chance to bat in this series. But, there was a sudden turnaround and a couple of wickets fell which brought left-hander in the middle.

The chase was at a crucial stage and quick runs were needed. Raina was up to the task. But, Yuvraj looked clumsy and batted at snail’s pace. Twitter began to erupt and tweets making fun of him soon began to flood the internet space. The match boiled down to the last over from which 17 needed for India to win and complete a clean sweep. Yuvraj was at the strike and the manner he was batting raised doubts whether the target could be achieved or not. However, then came the surprise as Yuvi smashed the first two balls of the decisive over for a four and a six. Raina did the rest of the work and India won.

Yuvraj Singh was the hero again and suddenly the jokes made on him disappeared. His fans celebrated his return with a storm of tweets. Here some of the best ones.
