Twitter Reactions: South Africa v New Zealand, 2nd T20I: Batting first Kane Williamson’s team posted a strong 177-7 a the end of 20 overs. Opener Martin Guptill hit a strokeful 60 to power his team towards something substantial, after they failed to post a winning total in the 1st T20I against South Africa. Young pacer Rabada struck thrice in his 4 overs spending 30.
South Africa’s chase was at all times jolted by wickets, as the Kiwi bowlers always maintained authority over the hosts and gave away nothing to the team with an array of strokeplayers and match winners. All batsmen including skipper AB de Villiers failed to get going and in a bid to break free gave away their wickets.
In the end of 40 overs New Zealand managed to defeat South Africa in the 2nd T20I at Centurion by 32 runs to level the 2-match T20 International series 1-1. Martin Guptill was declared the Man of the Match and the Man of the Series for his amazing batting performance in both the games.
