Twitter Reactions: Verdict on IPL spot fixing announced, players dropped off charges: News of relief to all the players dangling and waiting for the IPL spot fixing judgement to be announced, as 20 among them have been set free. The charges against players like S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila, Ankeet Chavan were dropped due to lack of evidence, a charge-sheet was filed against them for IPL corruption in the year 2013.

Delhi Police had arrested the Rajasthan Royals trio in May 2013 for spot fixing. Though, the charge sheet in the court filed on July 2013 could not prove the charges due to the technical issues. But, the BCCI verdict of life ban to both Sreesath and Chavan till now remains unchanged. The players have although been discharged their team the Rajasthan Royals (RR) still hang in the spot fixing issue and are banned for two years.
