Twitterati sympathizes for KL Rahul after a Bollywood actress calls him 'Bro'

KL Rahul is definitely one of the most stylish cricketers in the Indian team. He is one of the most eligible bachelors and has got a great style statement. Rahul has quite some female following and many go crazy about him. However, Bollywood actress, Nidhhi Agarwal recently called him ‘Bro’ on her Instagram stories.

Rahul was rumored to be dating Nidhhi some time back. These rumors surfaced after this duo was spotted in a restaurant in Mumbai. However, both of them immediately clarified regarding the issue to put a full-stop on the matter. They said that they’ve known each other for a long time and are good friends.

“I and Rahul go back a long way. We have known each other since our teenage years before Rahul became a cricketer and I became an actress. Though we did not go to the same college in Bangalore, we have known each other for long,” Nidhhi said in a statement.

Fans disappointed after Nidhhi terms KL Rahul as a brother

KL Rahul is currently representing the Indian team in England. He is a part of the ODI squad and has featured in both the ODIs that the team played in England thus far. Although he disappointed in these games, Rahul is in red-hot form and is expected to play a crucial role in the series decider on Tuesday.

During the second ODI that was played between England and India, Nidhhi attended the game and cheered for KL Rahul. There was every chance that her presence could have helped more rumors build up. But, she took another massive step to bury down all the link-ups. She posted a couple of pictures from the ground. In one of the picture, she captioned, “All the best bro! @rahulkl.”

Although this story definitely helped to end all the rumors, Twitterati was left completely in splits. Many couldn’t digest the fact that Nidhhi called Rahul her brother and also empathized for him. There were plenty of ‘Brozone’ and ‘Friendzone’ jokes that were cracked on him.
