The Indian discard off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is known to be very active on social media and stays connected with his fans and followers. He is always very keen to share all the happenings of his life and let his well-wishers know about the same. However, he was trolled by Twitterati this time around as he mistakenly termed paramilitary forces as Indian Army.
The off-spinner has been out of the Indian squad for a long time now and there are very grim chances that his international career would resume from hereon. Though he keeps himself fit to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and was picked by Chennai Super Kings in the recently concluded two-day auction. He was with Mumbai Indians ever since the inception of the T20 extravaganza and would be looking forward to his stint under the leadership of MS Dhoni.
Bhajji gets trolled
A couple of days ago, Harbhajan Singh posted his picture with paramilitary soldiers and was elated after meeting them. But mistakenly he termed them as the Indian Army. While his respect and salute was for them, there is no doubt that his feeling would change for the paramilitary soldiers. His tweet for them read, “With my brothers #indianarmy #JaiHind #respect #SaluteToSoldiers.” Twitterati, however, picked his mistake and trolled him hilariously.
Some of them were very miffed over the fact that the Indian Army is always credited for the work they do and the Paramilitary soldiers are never given the due credit which was unfair on them. While few fans understood his feelings and only pointed out his mistake. It is natural for anyone to make the mistakes but the celebrities especially have to take care while posting anything on the social forum as few people are just waiting to pull the trigger over them.
Here’s the tweet of Bhajji:
