Former Indian cricketer turned commentator Sanjay Manjrekar posted an old picture of him and his friend posing on the beach. Throwbacks are often fun, and especially if they are posted by cricketers such as Sanjay and Sachin Tendulkar.
The Mumbaikar was unable to control his excitement to share the nostalgic picture with his followers on Twitter. Sanjay’s caption for the photo was a bit of a complaint against fellow Mumbaikar. The caption read: “Trying to show off our biceps in the 90s. Pic off centre isn’t it? He was better with the bat I guess, the photographer, Sachin Tendulkar.”

There have been a lot of cricketers termed better than those who have earned the glory. A few club and domestic cricketers have always been termed good enough to represent the national team at the highest level. But they could never make it to the team. Sanjay and Sunil Gavaskar have on a number of occasions dug up from the past a few such names.
Manjrekar did something similar today with his tweet. He was almost thrown out of the frame in the picture he posted due to Sachin’s photography skills. His sarcastic and witty reply, however, did not go down too well for him as Twitterati started trolling him from right, left and centre.
Manjrekar was obviously joking about his biceps, looking at his physique. At the same time, the commentator had many a fan curious to know who the other person in the photo was.
A few made wild guesses and some got it right. Manjrekar replied to the tweet soon to reveal the person next to him as former fast-bowler Prashant Vaidya, who played with him and was a dear friend.
Ref last tweet – With me in the picture is Prashant Vaidya. Former India fast bowler & a great friend.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, a few Twitter users used this opportunity to troll him for his physique calling it just a result of photography technique and the others calling the former cricketer a side-kick.
Here are some of the best replies:
@sanjaymanjrekar why u hv not tagged @sachin_rt in this. He done his job perfectly as vaidya is in the centre. U always have had side roles.

@sanjaymanjrekar of centre gives depth of field to a photograph …so not very incorrect by Sachin… 🙂

@sanjaymanjrekar love the way you accentuate the biceps by pushing with your fist from other side of the arm?

@sanjaymanjrekar not placing the subject in the centre is recommended. Rule of thirds. This mishit of Sachin went for a six I guess ?
