Two cricketers from the Indian Cricket Team all set to become fathers
The two to be fathers have a lot to look forward to in the next few months.

It is time for some grand celebrations in the Indian cricket team, as two of its most prominent members, ODI vice-captain Rohit Sharma, and pace spearhead Bhuvneshwar Kumar, are set to become proud fathers. In April 2015, Sharma got engaged to his good friend and manager, Ritika Sajdeh and they tied the knot on 13 December 2015.
Before getting married, the couple knew each other for almost six years. Rohit and Ritika met as professionals as she is a sports event manager and was also the personal manager of the batsman. Rohit proposed to Ritika at the Borivali Sports Club, Mumbai, which is the same ground where he started his career at the age of 11. The couple has been a fan favourite since.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar married Nupur last year
As for Bhuvneshwar, he had been in a relationship with his wife for quite a while after which they eventually tied the knot in Meerut on November 23, 2017.
“I know her since childhood. We used to stay in the same colony. We have known each other since we were 12-13 years old. Other thing was we stayed next to each other. It was like if I throw stone from my house, it will swing to her house. Parents took some time but they accepted,” the pacer had said of his relationship.
The Indian team is currently hosting the Windies for 2 Test matches, 5 ODIs and three T20Is. India won the first Test in Rajkot by a huge margin, and the second Test is currently underway in Hyderabad. While Rohit has been named in the squad for the first two ODIs against the Windies, Kumar has been rested for workload management, and in his place, Shardul Thakur and Khaleel Ahmed have made the cut.
The current bunch of players share a great bond and it is a news all their mates will be looking forward to as well. We’ve seen how Zoravar and Ziva along with other kids have ruled the hearts of all the Indian players.
