<p>Kings XI Punjab’s Mandeep Singh had a brilliant season in 2012 when he scored 432 runs in 16 matches. He scored runs at an average of 27 and a strike rate of 126.31 and went on to win the Emerging player award during the season.</p>

<p>Shreyas Iyer was not only the costliest uncapped player in 2015 but also the valuable too. He scored 439 runs in the season for Delhi Daredevils, the second most runs in a single season by uncapped player. He scored 439 runs in 14 games at an average of 33.76 with 4 fifties and won the Emerging player of the tournament award.</p>

<p>Paul Valthaty became another KXIP uncapped player to score 400 runs in a single season. During the 2011 season, Valthaty scored 463 runs for Kings XI Punjab, the most runs for any uncapped player in a single IPL season. He averaged 35.61 and had a strike rate of 136.98 and scored an unbeaten 120.</p>
