After the World Test Championship (WTC) Final loss against New Zealand, the Indian team got a much-needed break, before the five-match Test series against England takes center stage. With the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) allowing the players to travel with their families, most of the cricketers, the likes of Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma, and Mayank Agarwal brought along their better halves and have been exploring England.

Anushka Sharma has accompanied Kohli and the duo apparently are hanging out a lot in the streets of England, which apparently they get less to do so in India due to Paparazzi. Now, Anushka has shared another video on Instagram along with Kohli. In this video, the duo can be seen balancing the bat on their fingers. Well, this is quite unique and requires a special talent to do so, as the bat can easily slip out of the fingers in just a split second.

Anushka posted this interesting video on her official Instagram account and captioned the post by saying, I had fun doing the TakaTak #BatBalance challenge with @virat.kohli! You too show us your skills by participating in the #BatBalance challenge on the @mxtakatak app now.”

She also posted the video with Kohli by saying in the background,  Ok ok. Here we go. I got it. Me and Virat balancing…khelenge (will play) cricket.” Virat said, “Chalo ab tumhari baari tum bhi yeh karke dikhao (Now it’s your turn to do it).”

Virat Kohli and management focus on exploring the possible options during the England Tests

With Shubman Gill ruled out of the first Test, the opening slot has again become a hot topic of discussion. Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul, and Hanuma Vihari are in contention to open the innings along with Rohit Sharma in at least two of five Tests against England.

In the past, Vihari has opened the innings for India, and the management can promote the right-hand batter up the order and slot Rahul in the middle-order. In the recent past, the latter has done well in the white-ball formats in the middle-order and the management feels he is suited well lower down the order in the Test setup too.
