Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan took to social media to propagate an important message which throws light on the atrocities against children in the name of education. The Indian cricketers seemed deeply disturbed by the sequences which appeared in the video they posted on Instagram.

India is a country renowned for giving importance to education and in the process pressurize their offsprings to ace in their academics. In order to bring in discipline, they may turn to violent measures and harm the mental as well as physical health.

Similarly, in the video, the little girl was abused physically even after repeated complaints about headaches and torture. The child still continues to the needful as she calls out the one digit numbers. The video ends with a slap on the face of the child.

One has to question the integrity of the one who filmed the entire event. The kid is so young that she was not even able to spell out the numbers. The video questions the dying humanity in the 21st century where none is spared right from childhood to old age.

Virat Kohli took it as his social responsibility to profess the slogan of sparing the rod and saving the child. “The fact that the pain and anger of the child is ignored and ones own ego to make the child learn is so massive that compassion has totally gone out of the window. This is shocking and saddening to another dimension. A child can never learn if intimidated. This is hurtful,” captioned his Instagram post.

“LIFE IS FULL CIRCLE AND I PRAY THAT THIS BEAUTIFUL LITTLE GIRL GROWS UP TO BE A STRONG WOMAN ONE DAY!!! WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN THIS CHILD GROWS UP TO BE STRONG AND THIS LADY BECOMES OLD AND FRAIL AND IS AT THE MERCY OF THIS LITTLE GIRL!!! SHOULD SHE EXPECT A SLAP AND DOMINATION THEN????” captioned Shikhar Dhawan post.
