Virat Kohli disgusted with the alleged mass molestation in Bengaluru

Team India captain Virat Kohli took to his Twitter handle and expressed his disappointment at the alleged mass molestation in Bengaluru during New Year’s eve. Kohli who is an aggressive captain on the field is never afraid to spread his positivity voiced his opinion on the alleged Bengaluru moss molestation during the New Year celebrations at MG Road and Brigade Road.

Kohli who is the captain of Bengaluru-based franchise in the IPL Royal Challengers Bangalore expressed his disgust on the unfortunate incident and called those onlookers who didn’t offer help as cowards and said the men who were stood there and saw the incident unfolding in front of them don’t deserve to be called as men. He was disgusted with the people in power trying to defend all these situations terming them as ‘rubbish’.

He questioned the people who were standing and didn’t help those who were molested during the 31st night asking them whether they would have done the same thing if their family members faced a similar kind of a situation. He was pretty disturbed and urged everyone to change their mindset and start treating men and women equally. Kohli who is a pretty broad-minded character has always supported women empowerment and their freedom of choice.

Earlier Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan too expressed their views on the mass molestation case. The alleged incident took place on MG Road and Brigade Road. Men not only harassed the women but verbally assaulted them who had gathered to celebrate New Year.

Despite the alleged incident, the new chief of city police Pravin Sood told NDTV that the mass molestation “did not happen. Though he later clarified though in a city of 10 million “it could have happened” but there was no evidence of such happenings. He also went on to mention that no one took notice of the incident until 2nd January when someone broke the news and suddenly it was the talk of the town.
