Ace Indian batsman Virat Kohli is likely to join the Royal Challengers Bangalore camp on Friday (April 14). The Indian skipper has been out of action for quite some time now. Kohli had injured his shoulder during the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. During the third Test at Ranchi, a diving effort from Kohli had seen him land severely on his shoulder.

He was seen in pain and had walked off the field. Kohli did come to bat in the match but was ruled out of the next and the final Test at Dharamsala. Some disheartening news followed for the fans as dark clouds over his participation in IPL 2017 came to the headlines. The injury saw him ruled out for at least 10 days from the mega T20 event. He has already missed the first three matches for the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

His services have been deeply missed at the top order as RCB have lost two matches and have won just one. Now, some good news has finally come the way for the RCB camp. As per the reports in The Quint, the skipper is expected to be with the camp on Friday this week (April 10). Royal Challengers Bangalore will be hosting the Mumbai Indians at Bengaluru on Friday. Whether Kohli will be a part of the match or not remains to be seen.

The speculations can surely be made that the match could well be his return to the game of cricket after the injury. Virat Kohli has been the main man for his team in the tournament. Last year, he led the team to the finals of the IPL 2016. He was the winner of the Orange Cap as he had finished being the top scorer of the tournament. He hit 973 runs in the edition with as many as 4 centuries to his name.

Coming into the IPL 2017, he remains to be the one the top players to watch out for. For the RCB fortunes to change, Virat Kohli will have to replicate his 2016 heroics this season post his return.
