Indian Test captain, Virat Kohli has been hitting the headlines for the last few years now with his stroke play and match winning performances. But now, it was the Delhi-born star batsman, who is all set to shift to Mumbai soon in the future.

Kohli has reportedly bought a 7,000 square feet house in south Mumbai’s Worli area for a whopping INR 34 crore. The flat is in the C-Wing of an under-construction project called Omkar 1973. Interestingly, Kohli will get the flat with just four walls and will have to get all the remaining work done as per his own specifications.

A report in Mid-day quoted a source from the builder’s office as saying, “The project has flats on bare shell ‘Bespoke’ model, which means the flats can be designed as per the owner’s style and taste. The builder offers only a floor, with no columns in between. It’s like a playground and the owner can make anything inside. One can have any size of a bedroom to a king size hall, or a study.”

Kohli has been involved in a lot of charity activities in Mumbai as well. He took part in the football match between Bollywood celebrities and cricket stars and has also conducted a gala dinner. No wonder he has plans to buy a house in Mumbai.

He has been in top form in the past 6 to 8 months. Virat was awarded as the player of the tournament in the World T20 earlier this year and was awarded the orange cap in IPL for scoring most runs in the season. He is all set to lead India in the Test series against West Indies which starts on July 21.
