Virat Kohli reveals the reason behind his quick recovery

Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli, after missing the initial phase of the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League has returned to the tournament with a bang. The skipper, since his return against the Mumbai Indians, has scored two 50’s in as many games. It never looked even for an instance that the batsman was out of action for any time.

Kohli, who we all know left no stones unturned to get back into right shape at the right time of the tournament. He, once again teamed up with his trainer Shankar Basu to get back into a good shape. Basu is the man behind the extreme fitness of the Indian skipper from the past two years, where he has grown extremely fit. The RCB skipper wasted no time in posting a photo with Basu ( who is a support-staff of RCB) on Instagram.

Alongside the support of Basu, the Indian physiotherapist Evan Speechly has been highly supportive of the Indian.
Virat Kohli’s Instagram post read: “Gymming with my 2 champions. Absolutely love these guys. Such fun to work with ???. Mr Evan speechly our physio and the super trainer Mr Shankar Basu”

The injury that was sustained in the 3d Test of the Australia’s tour to India, where the Indian captain crashed down on the boundary line to injury his shoulder. Since then, the Indian captain has missed the last test and further the initial few matches for his franchise- Royal Challengers Bangalore.

In the absence of Kohli, Bangalore was struggling to find a foothold in the league and lost three out of four matches. But with Kohli back in the line-up, Bangalore will be eager to close the gap at the top of the table in the absence of the South African AB de Villiers and the Indian opener KL Rahul.
