Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli grabbed the limelight with their hilarious reactions during the end of the fourth day’s play at the Lord’s. The light faded and it went dark at the Home of Cricket. However, the umpires continued with play as Moeen Ali and skipper Joe Root operated in tandem. Moeen had got rid of the well-set Ajinkya Rahane and Ravindra Jadeja in pretty quick succession.
When the Brits opted to take the second new ball, the umpires decided to call off play. Rohit and Virat, in the meantime, weren’t happy with play continuing in a bad light. The duo was there at the Lord’s balcony and they gestured towards the batters in the middle, asking for play to stop. The reaction turned out to be pretty comical and the video went viral on social media.

The second Test between India and England is well and truly in the balance. Going into the fifth day, both teams have an equal chance of winning the match. The winner will take a crucial 1-0 lead in the five-match series. A draw is also on the cards and chances of rain can’t be ruled out either. At the close of play on Day four, India are leading by 154 runs with four wickets in hand.
Rishabh Pant is there in the middle along with Ishant Sharma, who’s known for his resilient approach with the bat in hand. Pant has played a number of match-winning knocks for his team and his approach with the bat is likely to hold a lot of significance. If he manages to score a half-century, taking India’s lead to around 230, England could get in a bit of trouble.
Earlier, Rahane sparkled, having scored 61 off 146 balls with five fours. Cheteshwar Pujara didn’t flatter to deceive either as he managed 45 off 206 with four fours. The duo came together after Sam Curran got rid of Virat Kohli.
They stitched together a 100-run stand for the fourth wicket. Even as Rahane got out to Moeen, Pujara perished to Mark Wood. With all three results possible, the fifth day is expected to be an absolute cracker.
