Team India skipper and batting maestro Virat Kohli is a renowned personality in the cricket world. Kohli is arguably the best batsman of the modern world. However, cricket is not the only sport that the Indian skipper is fond of. Apart from the gentleman’s game, the Delhi Stalwart has a fondness for football too.

There have been many instances in the past when Virat openly discussed his love for football. On May 25, Tuesday, the 32-year-old again gave a glimpse of his fondness for football as he took the ‘Accidental crossbar challenge’. In the video posted on his official Twitter handle, Kohli can be seen playing football.

The skipper looked visibly happy while playing the sport as he kicked the ball hard in a bid to hit the goalpost. However, Virat missed his target and the ball touched the crossbar. Kohli didn’t look much happy after missing the target and was disappointed with himself. He shared the small clip with the caption, “Accidental crossbar challenge”

Virat Kohli joins the biosecure bubble for India’s tour of England

Team India is all set to resume international duties as they will square off against New Zealand in the final of the World Test Champion from June 18 to June 22 at Southampton. The WTC final will be followed by India facing England in the five-match Test series from August 4.

Ahead of the England tour, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made a bio-bubble in Mumbai where the UK-bound players and other members will have to complete a mandatory quarantine period before boarding the flight to the UK on June 2. While most of the players joined the bubble a few days back, cricketers residing in Mumbai including Virat Kohli were given some relaxation as they joined the camp on May 25.

However, BCCI doesn’t wish to take any chances with the tour and thus, the players who joined the camp on Tuesday will be strictly confined to their rooms and will not meet up with any other members of the team. They will be allowed to join the main squad only after completing a seven-day quarantine period.
