Indian swing bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar is celebrating his 27th birthday today. And it is quite guessable where we are going. Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag wished Bhuvi on his birthday and made a unique comparison once again. The Uttar Pradesh boy is know for his prodigious swing bowling which is tough for the batsmen to get hold of and Sehwag here equated it with mood-swing of wives.

He said that judging Bhuvi’s inswingers and outswingers is as it is to understand the reason for mood-swings. The Twitter sensation posted a picture of the bowler with a caption that read- “Biwi ka mood-swing aur Bhuvi ka inswing, outswing achhe achhon ko samajh nahi aata. Swing It like Bhuvi . Happy Birthday @BhuviOfficial

Over the last couple of years Bhuvneshwar though hasn’t quite been a regular part of the Indian team has become the go to bowler for Team India whenever they are playing on a pitch that has considerable swing to offer. He was deployed for duty in the second Test against New Zealand at the Eden Gardens and Bhuvi responded with a splendid five-wicket haul.

The next opportunity came in the fourth Test against England at Mumbai when no other pacer in the team was available for selection. He had a wicket-less first inning and just one in the second knock. For the consequent ODI series as well Bhuvi wasn’t considered for the first match but when Umesh went a bit too expensive they turned to him for the last two matches.

He picked one wicket but was quite expensive in the game at Cuttack which Team India won. Bhuvneshwar was retained in the squad for the third and last ODI at Kolkata bowling first he gave away 56 runs in his 8 overs but couldn’t pick a single wicket in the match where Hardik Pandya took three. He had the chance to become a hero with the bat as he walked out to the middle with six needed off the last ball. He swung his bat but couldn’t make any contact and eventually the Indian team lost the match by 5 runs.

Bhuvi will certainly look for more and consistent backing from the team management this year.
