Virender Sehwag congratulates Parthiv Patel, gets an appropriate reply

Former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag is an immensely popular figure on social media platform Twitter. He is one of the most active celebrities on the microblogging site with his regular tweets. From wishing fellow celebrities on their birthdays to taking a stand on political issues, Virender Sehwag’s tweets always have a hint of humor which makes his fans go crazy. Parthiv Patel reached 10,000 run landmark in first-class cricket when he took the field in the ongoing Duleep Trophy. Sehwag took the moment to congratulate the left handed batsman. Parthiv Patel has been struggling to make a comeback into the national side. The wicketkeeper who was brought in by Sourav Ganguly saw his career fall apart after the legendary Mahendra Singh Dhoni came into the scene. With Dhoni’s career slowly approaching the end, the Indian selectors have begun the hunt for his successor. But with the likes of Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant already in contention, the road is extremely tough for Patel.
