Virender Sehwag is once again in the news and this time as well his Tweet is at its hilarious best. The England cricket team found themselves at the receiving end after the day was dominated by old school duo MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh, as both the batsmen scored respective centuries to post a daunting 381/6 in 50 overs against England, in the second ODI of the 3-match series at Cuttack.

While Dhoni (134 runs off 122 balls) was at his usual self,  landing biggies off the hapless England bowling attack. Yuvraj found his vintage touch, scoring his career-best 150 in quick time. Dhoni also crossed the landmark of 4000 ODI runs in India (only second to Sachin Tendulkar’s 6976 runs). With both the old guns displaying a cracker of a performance, one couldn’t stop but notice another Indian powerhouse Virender Sehwag whacking sixes off the field.

Sehwag’s witty tweets are very popular in the hub of social media, and he was once again at his very best. Sehwag took to Twitter to compare the duo’s supreme innings with old 1000 and 500 currency notes that went out of circulation post the announcement of demonetization last year. Sehwag tweeted “Only old notes are out of circulation. Great knocks from @YUVSTRONG12 and @msdhoni.”

A couple of days back, the former Indian opener trolled the Pakistan cricket team by posting a picture of him acknowledging the crowd after scoring the historic 254, also the fourth fastest double hundred against Pakistan at Lahore in the year 2006. While a lot of Pakistan cricket fans were irked by Sehwag’s tweet, a majority of the Indian fans saw the funny side of it.

He used the hashtag #PakistanKaBhootBanaya Diwas. Sehwag is very fond of arch rivals Pakistan, as he had earlier trolled former Pakistan spinner Saqlain Mushtaq on the latter’s birthday by posting a clip of him smacking the spinner during one of the Test matches played between the two sides.
