The antics from the Twitter account of Virender Sehwag continue to be coming as the former Indian batsman this time engaged in some improbable banter with New Zealand’s Ross Taylor. The latter has been in the news lately following his impressive ton in the second Test match against Pakistan at Seddon Park in Hamilton.

Prior to the start of the match, Taylor had complained of eye irritation, something that put a lid on whether he would take part in the Test series. However, he not only came out to bat but also slammed a ton, something that now puts his name up in lights, to say the least.

Virender Sehwag has had his fair share of playing seam bowling against Pakistan. In fact, Sehwag is one of the few players who enjoyed Pakistan bowling. So much did Sehwag enjoy the bowling from Pakistan that he took each and every attack on paper to the cleaners almost every time.

At the moment, it is Ross Taylor’s ton that stands between New Zealand and victory against Pakistan. However, they will have to rely on their seam bowlers on the final day’s play should they have hopes of completing a series win on the final day of the second Test.

Here is the conversation between Ross Taylor and Virender Sehwag:

Tom Latham given out by Big Screen Blunder

A blunder on the big screen at Seddon Park in Hamilton ensured that Tom Latham had his heart in his mouth while batting on the penultimate day of the Test match against Pakistan. Batting on 23, the third umpire had asked for a review when the southpaw had asked for the DRS review. However, the fact of the matter remained that the evidence showed him not out.

However, in spite of this, Latham was given out in what was perceived to be given out by the big screen. Although this was only a minor glitch in the grand scheme of things, Latham must have certainly had his heart in his mouth. The youngster went on to smash an impressive 80 runs after being let off the hook.
