Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag might have played his last game for the nation in the year of 2013, but the destructive cricketer continues to maintain his relationship with his fellow teammates through Twitter. The Nawab of Najafgarh is a highly mobile personality on the social media platform and he never fails to entertain his fans much like he did with the willow in his hand. Popularly known as ‘Viru Paaji’, Sehwag gave the Twitteratti a dose of laughter again when the veteran batsman took out time to heap praises on his once-teammate and good friend Sourav Ganguly’s smile.

The 38-year-old’s hilarious tweet read “Dada ki khushi me apni khushi hai. Rasogulla jaisi meethi muskaan”, along with a picture of his with Sourav. This line from Sehwag meant that he finds happiness when Sourav Ganguly is happy and he also compared the Bengal tiger’s smile to the sweetness of a ‘Rasogulla’, an extremely popular dessert the state of West Bengal is known for. The tweet completely portrays the amount of love and respect Virender Sehwag holds for the man under whom he has spent a considerable amount of time as a cricketer.

Virender Sehwag was not the only one to flatter the former Indian skipper but controversial Indian pacer S.Sreesanth also participated in the tweet. Sreesanth did no less in showing his love towards Ganguly as he labeled him as a legend and highlighted the fact that Ganguly motivated him in the year of 2003 when the bowler was struggling to get into the national side. Sreesanth mentioned that it was the Prince of Kolkata who asked him to never give up and keep focus. The Kerala-born bowler also termed Virender Sehwag as a true legend of the game and wrote that he considers himself lucky to have played alongside both Ganguly and Sehwag.

“Very well said Veeru bhai..the legend @SGanguly99 ..the man who asked me to never give up Nd focus on playing for the country in 2003(nets)”. “Will alwys be grateful to some amazing advises too from u both for sure..true legends of the game..really proud to say that I played with u” Sreesanth tweeted.
