Team India speedster Ishant Sharma had a very disappointing time when he went unsold at the IPL auctions earlier this year. However, in last moment replacement announcement, the Kings XI Punjab franchise roped in his services in place of injured Murali Vijay. Apparently, as admitted by Ishant himself, former Indian cricketer and current manager of the KXIP unit, Virender Sehwag had made a call to him a couple of days ago and there started the discussion.

Now that Ishant has been called to the squad, he will soon be catching up with the fellow KXIP players and also all the team managers including Sehwag. The former Indian opener, Sehwag, is renowned for his quick wits on the social media. He has become a Twitter sensation because of his sarcastic digs and pun-filled tweets aimed at the current happenings in the world of cricket and elsewhere.

While he usually gets active on the birthdays of cricket, drafting in of Ishant to the KXIP side also became a target for Virender Sehwag. Sehwag trolled Sharma by recalling the comic facial expression the latter had made in the recently concluded Test series against Australia. His expressions against Aussie skipper Steve Smith had made him a butt of all jokes on the social media and was a trending face for quite some time.

Sehwag, on his Twitter handle, posted the same picture and added the caption, “Welcoming the Hairy&Slightly distorted Burj Khalifa @ImIshant to the @lionsdenkxip family.Plz Welcome him by making such a face wherever u r”.

Ishant also found humor in it and asked Sehwag to make the same face when he greets him at the KXIP camp. He also thanked Virender Sehwag for his welcoming note. Ishant wrote, “Thanks paaji !!! And first you have to make the same expression tomorrow in the practice session”.

Sehwag is not one of those who fails to reply and responded back with another tweet saying one needs practice to make such a face. He tweeted, “That’s the difference Burj Khalifa ji.We have to “Make” that expression. Making that expression itself is a practice session.”
