Virender Sehwag and his twitter account have set social media ablaze ever since the former opener’s retirement a couple of years ago. While he has been involved in atrocious battles against the likes of Piers Morgan and a few others, it seems quite clear that Sehwag has learned his ways about how to use the social media space and the 140 characters to his advantage.

More recently, the ‘Nawab of Najafgarh’ celebrated his 38th birthday, something that once again began to attract millions on twitter in a soft bid to grab his attention in the social media space. While some of them succeeded and other failed, there was one tweet that Sehwag took to the very next level of his humorous tweeting ability.

A fan, as were many, who wished the former batsman a bit late went on to realize exactly what happened if one waited a long while to wish the former Indian batsman. Reacting to the birthday wish, Sehwag once again used his 140 characters wisely to politely reply that there were 363 days left for his 39th birthday to arrive.

His tweet read: “363 days more hain ji. Too early, but thank you.” Sehwag will be seen back in the commentary box from 3rd ODI onwards. The third ODI of the five-match series is scheduled to be played at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali, Chandigarh. It would be a crucial match as both the sides have won one match apiece.
