Former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag has wished the Universal Boss Chris Gayle on his birthday on social media. Viru retired from cricket but has always made his presence felt and has kept his fans busy with his witty tweets. He is never out of the action and is always tweeting about one thing or the other. This time he has wished the Caribbean star Gayle on his special day.
Virender Sehwag has kept himself busy since hanging his boots across all the formats of the game. He has been the mentor cum coach for Kings XI Punjab franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and has also been doing Hindi commentary during India’s home season earlier this year. The fans have enjoyed his stint in the commentary box while he was there and now he is associated with the news channel for their show ‘Cricket ki Baat’.

He has termed Gayle as a man with big heart and also heaped praises by terming him a legend of the game. He also posted a picture with the big man and his message read, “Aa Gayle, Bowler Maar ! The attacking batsman turned 38 today who is currently involved in the ODI series against England in their own den. He announced his return to the limited overs format with swashbuckling innings of 37 off just 27 balls. But his team lost the first match of the series by 7 wickets comprehensively. Windies though has now been boosted with the return of the birthday boy. Gayle would love to celebrate his birthday with a huge knock in the second ODI on Thursday.
