Yorkshire is in a bit of a tangle in the ongoing T20 Blast. Out of five matches, the team has won only a solitary match against cellar-dwellers Leicestershire. It goes without saying that they need to beat the higher-placed teams to climb the ladder in the table. Their last match against Northamptonshire in Northampton got abandoned due to rain and they are placed sixth on the points table.

They are next scheduled to lock horns with Worcestershire at the Headingley in Leeds. Worcestershire, on the other hand, are in good form, having won their last couple of matches versus Durham and Derbyshire. Placed second on the table, the team also has the chance of moving to the top. Meanwhile, another defeat for Yorkshire could put their campaign in the doldrums.

Match Details:

The North Group game in the Vitality T20 Blast 2019 will be played between Yorkshire and Worcestershire at the Headingley in Leeds.

The match starts at 6:30 PM local time (11:00 PM IST) (5:30 PM GMT).

This game will be live on Sky Sports in England and on the Fan Code app in India.

Pitch Condition/Report:

The pitch at the venue is a good one for batting and another high-scoring encounter seems to be in the store. But the track also assists the spinners as it’s a tad on the slower side. It would be better to put runs on the board and then exert pressure on the opposition.
