Watch: India vs South Africa – Freedom Series promo: In the eve of the South Africa’s tour of India, the South African Cricket Board has released a promo video related to the “Freedom Series”, which was decided to be named in mark of Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela, the freedom fighters of India and South Africa respectively.

The video starts with Mahatma Gandhi’s struggles for India’s freedom and Nelson Mandela’s fight against the whites and non-whites discrimination in South Africa. Later clippings of the first ever International match of South Africa on their return in 1992 against India at Eden Gardens, Kolkata is been shown along with Mother Teresa wishing the players.

The video follows with the clipping of Indo-SA clashes till their recent meeting at CWC15 in league stage at Melbourne along with the love shown by the people in respective nations towards the sport. The 90 seconds video concludes with a lovely tag line “400 hundred years of shared history…and a love for cricket.”
