India women

The festival of colors Holi is here. The Indian Women’s team at the hotel was seen celebrating the festival of Holi with dry colors. Indian women’s team will play their final match in the group stages against West Indies women’s on Sunday, March 27 at the PCA IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali, Punjab.

The Indian women’s team lies at the 3rd place in their group behind West Indies and England. They are on 2 points, with only one win out of 3 matches. Their net run rate is +1.130 and it looks extremely difficult for them to qualify for the semi-finals from this position.

India defeated Bangladesh in their very first match. But then were defeated by Pakistan and rain when they were within a hair of a chance to win the match, when rain interrupted the match and Pakistan won by Duckworth/Lewis method.

In their last match, England women completely outplayed the Indian women’s team in a match where England outclassed them in every department, be it bowling, batting or fielding.

Their next match against the group toppers will be even more hard, as the West Indies women’s team has not lost a match yet, having defeated the Pakistani women’s team and the Bangladeshi women’s team in previous two matches.

Now it should be seen as hope if the colors of Holi also bring the encouragement to the Indian women’s team to beat West Indies women’s team and hope for the best.
